Peer Baba
Peer Baba just before a few km from Razdan Pass holds true beauty in its lap. This site has been developed as a spiritual spot just before Razdan Pass where one can enjoy the panoramic view of the whole Bandipora forest ranges and the small hamlets which seem to be locked within the gorges of these mountains. The place is close to the Razdan Pass which divides the Gurez valley and the Bandipora.
The spiritual aura one feels here at the Peer Baba Dargah is worth experiencing. There is a small temple constructed by the Indian Army besides the Dargah. Both the Dargah and Temple are overseen and maintained by the Indian Army. This adds the spiritual essence to the place giving it a pluralistic color.
Located in between Tragbal and Razdan Pass, this Dargah will welcome you with different shaded fluttering cloths tied on the poles. It also holds a beautiful green meadow in its course. From where you can see the snow-filled mountain of Harmukh and the elephant hills of Bandipora Town. The hawk-eye view of Wular Lake, Asia’s largest freshwater lake, renders unconscious.
